These are the most revealing photos yet of Lamborghini's new V12 supercar.
Trading in the previous flat black camouflage for the swirly black and white pattern isn't much of an improvement. However, seeing it in daylight gives us a better sense of the vehicle's dimensions and presence. Taking a look at the first couple of shots, the LP700-4 seems to get Reventon-inspired lines, particularly at the front end, with the stealth fighter trapezoidal shapes and crease lines.
The Murcielago successor will be equipped with an upgraded 6.5 liter V12 engine putting out 700 PS (690 bhp / 515 kW) and 690 Nm (509 lb-ft) of torque while connected to a Graziano 7-speed automatic (single clutch with dual sychronizers).
Weighing in at 1575 kg (3,472 pounds) the all-wheel-drive vehicle tentatively named Aventador accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in only 2.9 seconds. Top speed is 350 km/h (217 mph).
The model is scheduled to make its debut at the Geneva auto show in less than one month.
